Description Damping ring that goes around the “Clinch Bolt” in the bottom of the 5 Speed gear lever. The idea of this ring is to dampen the impact of the ball bearing in the detent – the “resistance” that prevents you moving over to 1st/Reverse. Now… if youve ever seen the Clinch bolt, you’ll know that this ring is much smaller than end of the “bolt” it has to pass over. Simplest way to get it on is to stretch it over with some O ring pliers. Yeah… we know… its a lot of money for a little rubber ring, but at least theyre available!
