Description A downloadable cross stitch chart with instructions for you to sew a chequered striding cat in cross stitch. The finished design measures 6.5cm x 4.5cm (2.4 inches x 1.75 inches) when stitched on 14 hpi aida (hpi = holes per inch) as shown in the photo. This design uses only cross stitch, and is suitable for a beginner. It would be easy for a more experienced stitcher to adapt this chart, with a different check pattern for example, or stripes. You could even smooth the edges with three-quarter stitches and a darker backstitch outline. Your download is in PDF form, and is in full colour. This is a chart only.
