Kim says: “When I was first learning how to dye fabric in college, I was amazed by how many different patterns and textures I could make through the process of shibori – the Japanese art of folding, tying, wrapping, or otherwise manipulating fabric to resist dye. The love and fascination has never left me. No two fabrics are ever the same. This collection of fabrics is taken directly from my dye studio and some of my favorite fabrics that I have dyed.” She calls this one Pleat Plaid Shibori Black.
