DescriptionKreinik metallic threads are now made by Rainbow Gallery and they are producing the threads on cards instead of the spools. We still have stock of the spools and it is the same thread as the cards but Kreinik have increased the thread length to 13.7 metres (15 yards). They still have older stock to move first so not all cards will have the new length. This will change over time though and eventually all the colours will be available and will be 13.7 metres in length. If you don’t see the colour number that you are looking for or you would like to check the metreage, please Contact Us and we will do our best for you. Kreinik threads are used to add a touch of glamour to your design, and to make certain areas stand out. #4 refers to the thickness of the thread ranging from #1 (fine) to #32 (thickest). #4 is the most common thickness and is usually stitched using one strand but be guided by your pattern.
