DescriptionThis is a kit made by StitchNZ of a 1940 NZ Penny. 1940 was the first year that the Penny was minted and it shows a NZ Tui bird on a branch of Kowhai with Kowhai flowers & leaves in the background. The Penny was used in New Zealand until 1967 when the switch was made to decimal currency. This design is available as a physical pattern which is posted to you, a full kit or a PDF download. The Kit contains 14 count Ivory Aida, DMC cotton skeins, bobbins to store threads on, a needle, the pattern & full instructions. The finished design size is 15 x 15 cm. Skill Level: Beginner
