DescriptionA biscornu (French for little pillow) design from Laura Wolf. The words ‘Half Agony, Half Hope’ are relating to Jane Austen’s 1817 book Persuasion. The design features Red Carnations and Snowdrops which , in the language of flowers mean ‘Alas! for my poor heart!’ and ‘Hope’. The design has been stitched on black fabric but this could be amended to any colour fabric that you like. Stitching on 14ct the design size would be 7cm x 7cm. Note that instruction on how to sew the finished biscornu together are not given, but there will be videos on You Tube to guide you with instructions. This design is available as a PDF, a printed pattern or as a kit made by StitchNZ. The kit would include the pattern, 14 ct Aida fabric, 4 DMC skeins, bobbins to store the threads and a needle. Skill Level: Beginner with some experience
